UK Shooting News’ author has very kindly been invited to give a talk on the state of firearms law in the UK.
The talk, hosted by political discussion group Libertarian Home, will take place in London on Thursday 4th February, starting at 6.30pm. Entry is free but attendees are asked to register via meetup.com.
Topics will include the current state of firearms law, a brief look at the Law Commission review and the proposed EU gun ban, how the police surveil peaceful shooters, and how the concept of gun rights fits into the British libertarian political movement (it doesn’t, and for reasons I’ll go into on the night, it probably shouldn’t).
The talk will last for 20 minutes and be followed by a Q&A session. Hopefully I’ll see some of you there.
