27 Nov 17 – The Fifty Calibre Shooters’ Association’s chairman has warned that police efforts to ban target shooting rifles stretch beyond .50″ BMG rifles and MARS-action rifles.
8 Nov 17 – The minister publicly driving the 50-cal ban has confessed to Parliament that the one stolen rifle which prompted the latest drive to ban 50-cal rifles was, in fact, recovered by police.
2 Nov 17 – The Conservative minister driving the ban on .50-calibre and MARS action rifles appears to have deliberately misled Parliament in a written answer.
